“Namquốc ngàn năm con lưu dấu
Con Rồng cháu Lạc khắc sử xanh;
Chữ hiếu, làm con luôn ghi nhớ,
Công cha, nghĩa mẹ sánh trời Nam.
MôPhật thành tâm con sám hối,
Gây bao tội lỗi bởi lầm mê;
Mắt lệ giọt buồn đêm thanh vắng,
Thân cò lặn lôi kiếp nhân sinh.
Đạinguyện chí thành cầu gia hộ,
Trăng rằm tháng bảy sáng nhân gian
Noi gương đại hiếu, lời kinh dạy:
“Chỗ ướt mẹ nằm, chỗ ráo phần con…”.
Hiếutâm kính lạy Đức Như Lai,
Cầu cho cha mẹ sống bách niên;
Dìu con qua bước đường gian khó
Vượt mọi phong ba giữa biển trần.
Mục đồng con trẻ cài hoa thắm,
Súng sính lam hiền đến thiền môn;
Chắp tay trước ngực thành tâm lễ
Quỳ dưới đài sen nguyện Phật Đà.
Kiền thành vững đức tin Phật pháp
Suối đổ mưa nguồn ánh từ quang
Chuông ngân tiếng mỏ lời kinh sớm
Đến bên bờ giác thoát trầm luân.
Liên hoa chín phẩm cao vời vợi,
Tuy ở thật xa nhưng hóa gần;
Thành tâm tinh tấn hành trì nguyện,
Tịnh độ Tây phương kiến Di Đà.
Bồ câu tung cánh giữa trời xanh
Hát khúc yêu thương trong nắng vàng,
Nụ hồng tươi thắm trên ngực áo,
Hạnh phúc thiêng liêng một kiếp người.
Tát cạn biển Đông, dời núi Thái,
Cõng cha cõng mẹ khắp Tu Di;
Vầng trăng tháng bảy vầng trăng sáng,
Sáng gương Đại hiếu Mục Kiền Liên.
