Chuỗi hoạt động đậm nét
truyền thống văn hóa Việt Nam đã tạo nên không khí mùa xuân ấm áp trong tình
huynh đệ của Tăng thân: dựng cây nêu, gói bánh chưng bánh tét, nấu bánh đêm
khuya, bình thơ đêm giao thừa, bói Kiều, lễ khấn nguyện đầu năm, thiền hành,
thăm và chúc Tết các thầy ở xóm Trời Quang, các sư cô xóm Trăng Tỏ,…
Tất cả diễn ra trong
không khí hoan hỷ và vui tươi với sự tham gia của hàng trăm Tăng thân của Làng
và các thiền sinh Việt Nam đang sinh sống, làm việc, học tập tại thủ đô
Bangkok. Đây cũng chính là cơ hội để các thiền sinh nước ngoài được tiếp xúc
với nét đẹp văn hoá Việt Nam.
Đặc biệt, tất cả không gian trang trí đều có sự xuất hiện của câu đối: “Địa cầu vừa tỉnh thức - Lòng đất bỗng đơm hoa”, được Tăng thân Làng Mai khắp nơi trên thế giới chọn làm câu đối cho Tết Canh Tý 2020 với thông điệp như một sự thực tập, ý thức về những gì đang xảy ra với thế giới và môi sinh của chúng ta.
