Mỗi sáng, ra tưới những chậu hoa để trước thất rồi ngắm.  Hoa mát mẻ mỉm cười và người cũng mỉm cười theo hoa.


Thỉnh thoảng có những chiếc lá héo, những cọng cỏ dại vừa chớm mọc liền ngắt bỏ đi. 

 

Mấy hôm nay trời có mưa nên không tưới. Sáng nay ra ngắm hoa, bất chợt, nhìn  thấy những cọng cỏ vươn mình kỳ diệu trong nắng sớm. Mấy ngày không tưới thôi, để phó mặc cho trời mà cỏ đã bật dậy mãnh liệt. Ồ, cỏ cũng...trổ hoa nữa kìa. 


Trước giờ cứ nghĩ chỉ có hoa mới đẹp, chỉ có hoa mới...nở hoa, nên trồng hoa, tưới hoa, để hoa nở, để ngắm hoa. Còn những thứ...cỏ dại kia hễ thấy là ngắt bỏ đi. 




Sáng nay cỏ không nói gì cả, cỏ chỉ mỉm cười và cỏ nở hoa. 


Những cọng cỏ mong manh với  những chùm hoa li ti tủa xuống trông thật mềm mại, quyến rủ như tô điểm thêm cho cây hồng môn đứng kiêu sa giữa chậu. Ngắm một hồi,  bỗng dưng thấy được cái đẹp - cái đẹp bởi sự hài hòa của cỏ và hoa.


Thực ra, hoa không kỳ thị cỏ và cỏ cũng chẳng ganh ghét hoa, cùng có mặt cho nhau cùng làm đẹp nhau. 


Trong thiên nhiên tất cả đều đẹp, chỉ trong ánh mắt con người mới có cái đẹp, cái không. Cái đẹp và cái không đẹp nằm ở chỗ đôi mắt ấy có chấp nhận hay không chấp nhận. 


Dù con người có chấp nhận hay không thì cỏ kia vẫn mọc, nắng kia vẫn chiếu soi và đêm về sương vẫn làm mát tất cả muôn loài. Ngay khi con người không tưới mát thì mưa vẫn tưới tẩm cho vạn loại tốt tươi.
