Lễ Phật đản năm nay được diễn ra trong bối cảnh cả thế giới đang phải đương đầu với thảm hoạ dịch bệnh Covid - 19. Vì vậy, việc tổ chức Đại lễ rất khác biệt so với mọi năm, số lượng người tham dự bị hạn chế, khi tham dự phải đeo khẩu trang và giữ khoảng cách với những người bạn xung quanh, các nghi lễ rất đơn giản, nhưng không vì thế mà kém đi phần trang nghiêm, thanh tịnh. 

 

Riêng chùa Giác Minh năm nay cũng có khác biệt, đó là lần đầu tiên tổ chức lễ Phật đản trên mảnh đất mới mua xong, lần đầu tiên thiết trí lễ đài tôn tượng Thái Tử Tất Đạt Đa ngoài trời và thực hiện nghi thức tắm Phật ngoài trời, lần đầu tiên kể từ khi thành lập đến nay, Giác Minh được tổ chức kính mừng Phật đản sinh đúng ngày 8.4 âm lịch, vì những năm trước thường tổ chức vào cuối tháng 4 hoặc có khi sang đến đầu tháng 5 âm lịch, dưới không gian thoáng đãng, yên tĩnh, thiền vị. 





 

Các khoá lễ lần lượt được diễn ra dưới sự chủ lễ của Đại Đức Thích Minh Hiếu. Cúng ngọ - Phóng sinh ngay trong khuôn viên chùa, bên dòng sông Sazava êm đềm, hiền hoà như chính con người nơi đây - Cúng chúng sinh - Tụng Kinh Khánh Đản và nghi thức Tắm Phật. 

Hội chúng, dường như ai cũng ngột ngạt với công tác phòng chống dịch Covid, nên khi về Giác Minh, ai ai cũng rạng ngời, buông bỏ hết mọi buồn phiền, u ám bấy lâu. 

 

Phật tử An Dung bộc bạch: con đã tham dự nhiều Đại lễ, nhưng đây là lần đầu tiên con cảm nhận sự an lạc trong sâu thẳm tâm hồn. Và đó cũng là tâm tư của nhiều người có mặt trong buổi lễ. 





 

Sau buổi lễ, lễ đài tôn tượng Đức Bổn Sư đản sinh vẫn được trang nghiêm đến hết ngày rằm tháng 4, hàng ngày vẫn có những nhóm Phật tử và bà con lui về đảnh lễ và Tắm Phật.
