Vu Lan về nhắc nhở người con Phật

Noi theo gương Đại Hiếu Mục Kiền Liên

Sống làm sao cha mẹ không buồn phiền

Đó mới thật chính là người con hiếu.

Công cha mẹ cao sâu như trời biển

Ơn sanh thành dưỡng dục chẳng kém đâu

Phận làm con phải ghi nhớ trong đầu

Khi trưởng thành lo cúc cung đền trả.

Một chân lý khắc sâu vào tất dạ

Khuyến dụ ta chú trọng đến tư duy

Rằng mẹ cha có hạt giống từ bi

Hy sinh đời mình qua nhiều thế hệ.

Cũng từ đó biết công lao cha mẹ

Dù bạc vàng chẳng mua được ơn sâu

Có xả thân cung phụng vẫn còn lâu

Đền đáp được khối chân tình cao quý.

Bụt trong nhà phải chăm nom tỉ mỉ

Thuốc, nước, thức ăn, quần áo tấc tươm

Đừng để buồn, phiền lụy tới song đường

Một lần nữa xác minh người con hiếu.

Nhìn lên trời, trời cao biên biếc

Ngó xuống đất, đất rộng thênh thang

Nghĩa cha tình mẹ quyết cưu mang

Phật thương gia hộ người con hiếu.

Sống cuộc đời, tỉnh thức trường an.
