Kính gửi: chư tôn đức tăng ni cùng quí Phật tử hảo tâm
Trong tháng qua, đồng bào sinh sống tại các huyện ven biển thuộc hai tỉnh Bạc
Liêu và Cà Mau chịu thiệt hại nặng nề về sinh mạng và tài sản do nhiều cơn mưa
dông và triều cường gây nên. Thiên tai đã khiến 01 người tử vong, 01 người bị
trọng thương, hơn 1000 hộ dân bị ảnh hưởng, 76 căn nhà bị sập, 812 căn nhà bị
tốc mái, hơn 250 căn nhà bị ngập, 05 tàu cá bị chìm, gần 350 ha lúc bị ngập úng
kèm theo đó là là sạt lở, ngã đổ những công trình công cộng… gây thiệt hại rất
lớn về tài sản của nhân dân.
Đáp ứng lời kêu gọi
của Ban Liên lạc Đồng hương Bạc Liêu - Cà Mau mong được Tu viện Khánh An góp
phần trợ giúp; Thể hiện tình dân tộc Việt và tâm từ bi của người con Phật, Tu
viện Khánh An tha thiết mong được chư tôn đức tăng ni, chư Phật tử hảo tâm góp
chút tịnh tài phẩm vật giúp đỡ người đang khốn khó. Tấm lòng của chư vị, Tu
viện xin đón nhận và mua sắm tặng phẩm cần thiết để giúp bà con. Nếu năng lực
tài chính nhận được nhiều sẽ thực hiện xây dựng một số căn nhà cho những hộ
đang không có chỗ lưu trú.
Vu Lan cũng là cơ hội
để chúng ta thực hiện các việc thiện lành hồi hướng phước báu đến gia đình, cha
mẹ, ông bà, cữu huyền thất tổ.
