Thầy nói: 

  • Hạnh phúc là quả, gieo trồng hạnh phúc là nhân. Vậy nên muốn có hạnh phúc phải biết gieo trồng hạnh phúc, nghĩa là phải biết hiến tặng hạnh phúc, cho đi hạnh phúc. Không hiến tặng hạnh phúc mà chỉ biết đòi hạnh phúc là điều không xảy ra.
  • Mặt trái của hạnh phúc là khổ đau. Có hạnh phúc không quá đắm đuối, dính mắc, gặp khổ đau không quá bi luỵ, ưu sầu. Vượt lên trên các cảm xúc về hạnh phúc hay khổ đau thì mới chạm được niềm hạnh phúc đích thực. 
  • Nghệ thuật sống hạnh phúc chính là biết xử lý khổ đau, biết nhận chân giá trị đích thực những gì ta đang có và biết làm mới chúng. 
  • Trong ta và quanh ta có vô số điều kiện hạnh phúc nhưng ta không biết cảm nhận, không biết nắm lấy cứ mãi tìm kiếm những thứ cao xa ngoài tầm tay, vậy nên không bao giờ chạm được hạnh phúc. 

Pháp thoại khép lại trong niềm hoan hỷ của chư hành giả. 


Tối cùng ngày thầy tham dự chương trình nhạc hội gây quĩ xây dựng chùa Đại Ân- Tokyo do Ni sư Tâm Trí, chủ tịch Hội Phật tử Việt Nam tại Nhật Bản đứng ra tổ chức. Tham dự có đại diện Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Nhật Bản cùng một số anh chị ca sĩ, nghệ sĩ ở Việt Nam sang cũng như ở tại Nhật Bản. 


Tại đây thầy đã có phát biểu nói lên ý nghĩa của đạo Phật trong dòng chảy của lịch sử dân tộc. Mượn bài thơ “Nhớ Chùa” của thiền sư Mãn Giác - Huyền Không thầy đã khẳng định vị thế của ngôi chùa trong  nền văn hoá Việt nhất là giá trị văn hoá tinh thần không thể thiếu của người Việt xa quê. 


Qua đó thầy cũng tán thán công đức của Ni sư Tâm Trí đã đồng cam cộng khổ cùng cộng đồng, phát tâm phụng sự Tam Bảo, phục vụ cộng đồng suốt gần 20 năm qua trên đất Nhật. 


Cộng đồng người Việt Nam tại Nhật Bản hiện đã lên tới gần 1/2 triệu dân, vậy nên xây dựng chùa đáp ứng nhu cầu tu tập cho Phật tử Việt nơi đây là vô cùng ý nghĩa. Thầy kêu gọi quí Phật tử, các nhà hảo tâm xa gần góp phần cúng dường xây dựng ngôi chùa Việt đầu tiên tại Tokyo này. 


Tu viện Khánh An cũng đã phát tâm cúng dường 500.000 yên Nhật góp phần xây dựng chùa Đại Ân.
