Đêm văn nghệ do Sư chú Trung Tịnh và Phật tử Nhuận Ánh đạo diễn có sự tham gia, góp mặt của các nghệ sĩ của TP.HCM: Ca sĩ Minh Tuấn, Minh Tâm, Hoàng Hải, Uy Huy Thái, Khánh Nam, Huỳnh Minh Lộc, Cao Mỹ Châu, Minh Huy, nhóm Hey Boy, Huyền Trân The Voice kid 2014, MC Nhã Quỳnh….. cùng các em đoàn thanh, thiếu niên Phật tử Tu viện Khánh An.

Khai mạc chương trình, Thầy Thích Trí Chơn, Viện chủ Tu viện phát biểu: "Tu viện tổ chức đêm văn nghệ hôm nay là để hướng về tưởng nhớ tiên tổ, ông bà, cha mẹ, để cúng dường Đại lễ Vu Lan. Không chỉ người tổ chức tưởng nhớ, cúng dường mà tất cả chúng ta đang có mặt tại đây đều có trái tim hiếu kính, tưởng nhớ và cúng dường mẹ cha, ông bà, tiên tổ của chúng ta".

Dưới tiết trời mưa phùn cũng không làm cho không khí đêm văn nghệ bớt phần sôi động, bởi những tiếng cổ vũ nhiệt tình của bà con đến xem dành cho các nghệ sĩ. Không phụ những tấm lòng đó, các ca sĩ chuyên và bán chuyên nghiệp, với mỗi ca từ, mỗi tiếng hát, mỗi điệu múa đều xuất phát từ tận đáy lòng,  đem hết khả năng nghệ thuật cống hiến cho gần 300 bà con đến xem. Những khúc hát đó cũng được xem như lễ phẩm dành trọn tấm lòng tri ân và báo ân dâng lên cúng dường chư Phật, gửi lòng tri ân tới Cha, Mẹ suốt một đời đã dành trọn cuộc đời cho con.
