Với ý nghĩa đó, ngày 16 tháng 7 năm Ất Mùi, nhằm ngày 29 tháng 8 năm 2015, Tu Viện Khánh An đã thành tâm tổ chức Lễ Tưởng niệm lần thứ 16, tôn sư cố Hòa thượng Thích Giác Đạo.

Hòa Thượng Thích Giác Đạo, pháp tự Thiện Tường, pháp hiệu Giác Đạo, xuất thế năm 1916, trụ thế 84 năm, viên tịch năm 1999 (nhằm ngày 16 tháng 7 năm Kỷ Mão), nối dòng Lâm tế Gia phổ đời thứ 41.

Quang lâm và chứng minh lễ giỗ có Hòa Thượng Thích Trí Anh, Chứng minh Ban Trị sự Giáo hội Phật giáo Q.12, TPHCM, các thành viên Ban Trị sự, chư Tôn đức Tăng, Ni và cùng đông đảo quí Phật tử về tham dự.

Sau khoá lễ khai kinh cúng Phật, đệ tử bốn chúng tề tựu trước linh đài Giác linh Hòa Thượng, với tâm thành kính ngưỡng tỏ lộ niềm biết ơn cử hành Lễ Chúc tán Tổ sư.

Khoá lễ Chúc tán hoàn mãn, Tu viện thiết lễ cúng dường. Thầy Thích Trí Chơn Viện chủ Tu viện đã đại diện tông môn pháp quyến tác bạch cúng dường. Thầy tỏ bày:

Hôm nay là ngày lễ tưởng niệm lần thứ 16 Bổn sư chúng con -  Hòa Thượng Thích Giác Đạo viên tịch. Tưởng nhớ người đã khai giới thân huệ mạng, để cho chúng con được đi trên nẻo đạo, được trở thành đệ tử của Đức Thế Tôn, chúng con bốn chúng đệ tử Tu viện Khánh An tổ chức lễ tưởng niệm và thiết lễ cúng dường Trai tăng. Kiền thỉnh mười phương chúng đức Tăng già quang lâm chứng minh . . . " Lễ được chư tôn đức thọ nhận bằng cách niệm danh hiệu Đức Bổn sư ba lần.

Buổi lễ kết thúc với niềm hoan hỷ của đại Tăng, với gần 50 Tăng, Ni và gần 400 Phật tử về dự.
