Đoàn xe gồm 8 chiếc khởi hành từ Tu viện hướng về Đồng Nai, nơi có chùa Tây Thiên tú lệ, hùng vĩ - hùng vĩ như những ngọn núi bao quanh đứng giữa đất trời đón người đến tu tập. Sau khi ghé qua chùa Phổ Đà nhận thức ăn sáng, gần 8 giờ thì đoàn đã có mặt tại Tây Thiên.

Đến nơi, không ít bạn cảm thấy bất ngờ trước khung cảnh tuyệt đẹp đến ngỡ ngàng của khung cảnh núi rừng và dáng vẻ uy hùng, vững chãi của ngôi phạm vũ Tây Thiên. Nhiều bạn đã la lên trong niềm dâng trào vui sướng.

Sau khi đã ổn định và sắp xếp chỗ nghỉ, Hội trại được chia ra 8 gia đình, gồm: An Trú, Cam Lộ, Chánh Niệm, Hiểu và Thương, Lắng Nghe, Thở và Cười, Trở về và Vững Chãi. Mỗi gia đình đều có quí Thầy, Cô tham gia chăm sóc. Đến 11h, toàn thể hội trại dùng cơm trưa.

Sau giờ nghỉ trưa, các bạn được sinh hoạt theo từng gia đình, giữa các thành viên trong từng gia đình và giữa các gia đình với nhau. Các bạn bắt đầu tìm hiểu về nhau, giới thiệu tên, nơi học hành, làm việc, sở thích, nhân thân . . . Sau khi tìm hiểu nhau,  các bạn được tập thiền ca. Có những bạn tham gia nhiều khoá tu nên thuộc được lời, hát rất hay. Có những bạn lần đầu tham dự, cứ ngỡ ngàng, ngạc nhiên, tại sao trong chùa lại có những khúc hát hay đến thế, cứ tưởng vô chùa là chỉ tung kinh, niệm Phật. Chưa đầy hai giờ "kết duyên", các bạn đã sớm làm quen với nhau, sống thân thiện với nhau như đã đến với nhau từ độ nào.

Khoảng 16h30, Ban quản trò Hội trại đã tổ chức những trò chơi dân gian thật sôi động, hấp dẫn như: đá banh, đá cầu, nhảy sạp… các bạn tham gia trò chơi hết sức nhiệt tình, tiếng nói cười, tiếng hò reo cổ vũ vang vọng cả một núi rừng trùng điệp. Mặt mày ai nấy cũng lem luốt dính đầy bột, mồ hôi đỗ ra nhễ nhoại nhưng bạn nào cũng nở những nụ cười thật tươi, những nụ cười của thoải mái và hạnh phúc.

Sau khi các bạn tập trung đầy đủ trước sân Tu viện, Thầy Viện chủ Thích Trí Chơn đã có lời chào đón các Hội viên. Thầy nhắc nhở các bạn về nếp sống người con Phật trong suốt thời gian tham gia Hội trại. Thầy cũng không quên cầu chúc cả đoàn lên đường an vui, hạnh phúc.
