Sau khi dùng chiều, 18h45 các bạn vân tập tại Phật Đường Tỉnh Thức tham gia khóa lễ tụng kinh Phước Đức. Đến 20h, Thầy viện chủ phát biểu khai mạc khóa tu và đốt lửa trại. Sau lời phát biểu của Thầy, những giọt mưa nặng hạt rơi xuống nhưng lửa trại vẫn được thắp lên và cháy bùng trong cơn mưa tầm tả. Bất chấp trời mưa, các bạn vẫn vui đùa thỏa thích xung quanh lửa trại, ai nấy cũng ước  nhem và trên khuôn mặt nở những nụ cười thật tươi.

Đến 21h, các bạn dùng thiền trà và cùng nhau mừng ngày tiếp nối của các bạn sinh vào tháng 7 này. Một bạn chia sẻ: “Đây là lần đầu tiên con được tổ chức sinh nhật trong không gian như vậy, được ăn sinh nhật trong chùa, cùng ngồi lại ăn bánh, uống trà với những bạn mà mình chưa bao giờ quen biết, một cảm giác thật ấm cúng và con sẽ không quên buổi thiền trà ngày hôm nay”.
